So here they are. My Likes
- They have grades getting ready 1 "Pre-K level 1 and getting ready 2 "Pre-K level 2. I love this because your child can go through not just one year of Pre-K but 2 years. It's great also because there is only a few things your child has to do every day.
- Towards the end of Getting ready 2 your child gets to use an online McGuffey Reader. Check out my review of the McGuffey reader HERE.
- She offers the basics in the grade level you pick on the sidebar - Math, Reading Comprehension, Writing and with each grade she adds on NEW things.
- If you want to add to your child's curriculum with more things than what is in the grade level. You will have to go over to the sidebar on the right and look for individual courses. 1st grade - 12th Grade is available for most of them.
- I love that Phonics plays a huge roll in the curriculum. My eldest child is 5 and has started to read. We are using Level 1 of her homeschool program.
- I love the directions that are on here. They are well written for a child to understand and follow through.
- The program she has on here is made to be really easy for a child to sit down once they can read and "Just Do School". Making it easier for you to help the younger ones.
- Oh did I forget to mention? It is ALL FREE
- If you are unfamiliar with the site you will probably think that, all there is to do for your child is what is available under the grade level your child is now in. It would be easier to do things if Bible History, Art and the other topics were linked into the grade level as extra curricular activities.
- I like most of what she has for videos to watch or books to read. But I add to it. I don't like the handwriting pages she has on there. I usually print them off from another website. Click HERE for those.
- There isn't anything for Character building - And well I need those. If you want to add Character building skills to your curriculum Click here.
